The three-way T20 tournament between the Junior Martlets, the Junior Band of Brothers and the Hampshire Hoggets could not start until 1 o’clock because the very heavy early morning rain had soaked the surrounding wickets and outfield. As a consequence the games had to be reduced to 15 per team.
By winning both their matches the Junior Band of Brothers were well deserved winners of the Chris Snell Salver.
