Match abandoned- course flooded at lunchtime. However an excellent morning’s golf and lunch was enjoyed by all with Ashdown winning 4 1/2 to 2 1/2. Martlet winners were Ellis & Silk and Skinner & Ritchie with Scrivens & Lock halving.
Martlet golfers should note that, because of the problem caused by the date of Easter, next year’s Ashdown match will be played on Saturday 25th April.
