A good quality competitive match which saw the Martlets losing the toss but restricting the Hogs to 227 due to some excellent bowling , particularly spinners Simon Funnell 2-39 and candidate Tom Carr 3-47. In reply the Martlets were in trouble early on falling to 23-3 but 2 fine innings from Michael Murray 65 and Richard Allum 85 not out saw the home side to a comfortable victory.
