Australian Transplant XI with Sussex Martlets
The Over 40s carried on their winning ways against Lucky Stars Australia Transplant XI. Losing the toss we restricted them to 139-8 off 30 overs and won by 7 wkts (with a couple of retirements at 30) with a couple of overs to spare. But it wasn’t really about the cricket, it was a celebration of the fact that a team of Aussies had overcome various adversaries on a personal level and were just able to play and promote organ donation! Many thanks to SJM and especially Neil Bushell for their hospitality.
We look forward to their return in 2019 I think as the Bradman Foundation XI.
