Murray’s 23 was not enough to get close to the Brunswick first-innings total

Brunswick won the toss and decided to have a bat on probably the flattest wicket I have ever seen. Brunswick managed 325 for 4 off 48 overs, Tom Haynes scoring 176 runs (slightly irritating), D Winn 48 (overseas), Kamrak 44, Phelps 29. Two others chipped in. Two wickets for George Read (slower ball cartwheel), one for Michael Murray and one for Mike Smith.
Martlets reply 233 all out from 47.5 overs (2.1 overs away from a draw) Marcus Campopiano top scoring with 55, Peter Lamb 29, Michael Murray 23 not out. Great character shown by the Martlets but alas we finished second. Thank you to everyone who played. Also thank you to both umpires & scorers.
