It was with great anticipation that the Sussex Martlets cricket season was due to start on Thursday 8 May in the annual 
fixture against the 1st XI of Eastbourne College only to be dashed by continuous rainfall throughout the day.
Our hopes now move to the match against the MCC at Arundel on Sunday, 11 May.
