A traditional match of two rounds of foursomes on the famous Rye links.
We performed well in the morning going into lunch 4 : 2 up. The Rye lunch was enjoyed perhaps a little too much, with the Martlets losing three matches and halving 3 to lose the day overall 6 1/2 : 5 1/2
A measure of the strength of Rye was a near scratch round by Martlets candidate Peter Baxter and chairman Stuart Ritchie only resulted in a halved match!
