| A growing number of Martlets gathered for the annual golf meeting at Mannings Heath in the middle of June.
Proceedings commenced with a delicious luncheon on the Clubs balcony under wide parasols in cloudless sunshine. The course is always a challenge to anyone’s game and was in great condition with fast true greens and well-manicured fairways. The day was a repeat win for Richard Foster (41pts) who was followed closely by Robert Reed and Steve Pook. The longest drive and the nearest the pin competition were both won by Jon Heaven. Our thanks go to the club for organising the event and creating an atmosphere and environment that matched the camaraderie and bon ami of the Martlets. The Golf Day was attended by the following Martlets.
