On a perfect late summer’s day we enjoyed a marvellous day’s golf at Seaford (Blatchington). The response from members was surprisingly poor, with 12 players including 2 guests playing for the Martlet Trophy. The Nearest the Pin prize was won by John Stapleton and the Longest Drive was by Mike Stewart. The Trophy was won by James Goddard with Adrian White in second place. We enjoyed an excellent lunch. It would be good to see more cricketers and members of the Golfing Society next year
