Sussex Martlets Golf Day

Despite the most deplorable weather forecast the Martlets golf meeting took place at Mannings Heath Golf and Wine Estate. Proceedings commenced with a very pleasant luncheon after which the risk averse or perhaps the faint hearted retired. The remaining eight Martlets ventured out on The Waterfall course, which was in fine condition, for a 10 hole competition which was dry throughout! The winner was James Goddard with Mark Bowden in the runner up position. Considering the circumstances, the gathering was a most enjoyable get together and we look forward to returning next year.
