An Excellent match played on one of those rare dry days this summer! It was played in great spirit against a friendly but competitive opposition. The Martlets lost the toss and were inserted in this 40 over match. Thanks to one of the club’s highest ever scores, a tremendous 161 not out by Ed McGregor a total of 226-6 was achieved. In reply Midhurst reached 203-6 in their 40 overs.Sandy Ross 2-38 and Rob Hough 2-37 a win by 23 runs in a match enjoyed by all.
